It is possible to get a DSCR loan with as low as a 15% down payment. However, this will depend on the ratio. A larger down payment may be required if the payment is high and the rent received is low.
Yes, you can be a first time real estate investor or be buying an investment property for the first time and still qualify for a DSCR loan.
Generally speaking a loan amount of $100,000 is required, however, we can accommodate loan values as low as $75,000 in our network.
DSCR loans are designed for real estate investors and consider the income potential of the property instead of personal credit history. To qualify for a DSCR loan, you need to have a strong debt service coverage ratio (DSCR) and provide documentation like bank statements, leases, and an appraisal.
Most lenders providing DSCR loans will require a FICO score of 680 and above. Usually, the higher the LTV, the higher the credit score will need to be. For example, a lender that is providing an LTV of 80% may require a credit score of 700. We have the ability to go as low as a 500 credit score in our network.
DSCR loans can be used to purchase or refinance properties with fixed or variable rates, access equity through cash-out refinances, and can even be structured with interest-only payments for a portion of the loan.
